Abstract

An organic electroluminescence element, in which at least one organic layer including at least one light-emitting layer is sandwiched between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, an iridium complex compound represented by general formula (1) is contained in at least one of the light-emitting layers, and a compound represented by general formula (2) is contained in at least one of the organic layers.
