Abstract
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for controlling TCP bidirectional concurrent transmission. The method comprises: obtaining a current TCP sending rate and a current TCP receiving rate; judging whether the current TCP receiving rate is greater than the current TCP sending rate; when the current TCP receiving rate is greater than the current TCP sending rate, judging whether the current TCP sending rate is greater than an uplink rate threshold; and when the current TCP sending rate is greater than the uplink rate threshold, suspending sending of a TCP data packet, and preferentially sending a TCP reply response. By means of the present invention, threshold data is obtained by using broadcast uplink/downlink configuration information in system information of a network, and the threshold data obtaining manner is simple, convenient, and rapid, which facilitates increase of the working efficiency of the whole transmission control; more network transmission traffic resources are allocated to TCP downlink data, so as to ensure that the TCP downlink data is sent in time, increase the traffic of TCP bidirectional concurrent transmission, and maximally use network resources.
