Abstract

Disclosed are a method, an apparatus and a mobile terminal for implementing profile mode setting. The method comprises: setting a profile mode selection attribute field for a contact or a group of the terminal, so as to store a profile mode set by a user for the contact or the group; when a call or short message is received and it is determined, according to an attribute field of a database, that a profile mode is preset for the contact or the group, entering a corresponding profile mode to work. The apparatus comprises: a contact profile mode setting module, configured to set a profile mode for a contact or a group; and a profile mode search module, configured to: when a call or short message is received, search for a preset profile mode and trigger a terminal to enter a corresponding profile mode to work. The mobile terminal comprises an apparatus for implementing above profile mode setting. By adopting the present invention, different profile modes can be flexibly set for different contacts or groups, so that when calls or short messages corresponding to the contacts or the groups arrive, the work can be done according to a mode required by the user.
