Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de sécurité électrique qui comprend un dispositif de commande programmable, un étage de commutation pouvant être actionné par le dispositif de commande afin de connecter ou de déconnecter un circuit de charge d'une source d'électricité et un étage de détection de courant résiduel, connecté au dispositif de commande et pouvant fonctionner dans un mode d'essai automatique pour envoyer un signal de défaut au dispositif de commande en cas de détection de courants résiduels dans le circuit de charge. Le dispositif de commande fonctionne selon un programme afin d'amener l'étage de commutation à déconnecter la charge en réponse au signal de défaut. Le dispositif de commande peut également fonctionner pour appliquer un signal d'essai à l'étage de détection de courant résiduel afin de simuler la présence d'un courant résiduel dans le circuit de charge et pour surveiller la réponse de l'étage de détection de courant résiduel.
