Abstract

Container (100) for a fluid under pressure, preferably a beer keg, comprising a neck (101) and a fitting mounted thereon with a suction tube (33, 34) for drawing the fluid into the container (100), wherein a pressure relief valve (38) is mounted in an upper end of the suction tube (33, 34) or in the neck (101) of the container (100), which pressure relief valve 38) comprises a closing body 201) which is mounted resiliently via a spring means (202) and movable from a closing position to an open position by the spring means (202) being compressed.
