Abstract
The invention relates to a method (40) for controlling an electric machine (12) of an electric drive train that is designed for driving a motor vehicle, wherein at least one parameter of the drive train is captured (44), which parameter deviates from a value area that is predefined for a normal operation of the motor vehicle, wherein an emergency start for the motor vehicle is requested (46), wherein the motor vehicle is started (48) in an emergency operating mode, wherein electric energy is provided (48) for the electric machine (12), such that a predefined driving torque (28) is set and/or the motor vehicle is accelerated to a predefined motor vehicle speed, and wherein the emergency operating mode is ended by ending the provision of electric energy (52), if the emergency start request is revoked.
