Abstract

Dans l'invention, une turbine à fluide carénée comprend un profil d'aile à anneau qui présente un bord d'attaque, un bord de fuite, une surface extérieure, une surface intérieure, ainsi qu'un corps s'étendant depuis le bord d'attaque jusqu'au bord de fuite. Ladite turbine carénée comporte en outre un rotor entouré par le profil d'aile à anneau. Ce rotor se trouve en aval du bord d'attaque et autour d'un axe central de la turbine à fluide. La turbine carénée possède en outre une ouverture qui s'étend à travers le corps du profil d'aile à anneau entre la surface extérieure et la surface intérieure. Cette ouverture est conçue pour mélanger un premier flux de fluide à proximité de la surface extérieure dudit profil d'aile à anneau et un second flux de fluide en aval du rotor.
