Abstract

This capsule for the percolation of a product such as coffee, comprises a bottom (2), a side wall (3) secured to the bottom and a seal (4) secured to a rim (8) of the side wall to define an internal volume of the capsule. It is made from a biodegradable material. The edge of the side wall comprises a reinforcement insert (10) secured to the rim.
