Description

Device sterilization / disinfection / preservation apparatus and method
The present invention relates to an article sterilizing / disinfecting / preserving apparatus and method for sterilizing / disinfecting / preserving articles using ozone gas, carbon dioxide gas, and nitrogen gas.
Ozone consists of three oxygen atoms and is known to have a strong oxidizing power. Due to the oxidizing power of ozone, ozone can exert excellent effects such as sterilization, virus inactivation, deodorization, bleaching, and removal of organic substances. Therefore, the effects such as sterilization described above are currently used in various fields.
On the other hand, carbon dioxide has antibacterial, antiseptic and insecticidal effects, and can suppress the generation of bacteria, fungi, pests and the like. In particular, the insect pests can be controlled even in the state of eggs, larvae and pupae without toxicity like insecticides, and they are also used as agricultural chemicals. In addition, nitrogen gas and carbon dioxide gas, for example, suffocate the mold, insect adults and eggs that affect articles such as expensive clothing, books, antiques, etc. It is known to remove effectively without causing discoloration or the like due to a chemical reaction or the like by a chemical agent or the like.
Therefore, conventionally, it has been known to store these articles in a package filled with carbon dioxide gas or nitrogen gas so that, for example, books and antiques are not exposed to oxygen.
However, in such a conventional method for storing an article in which the air is simply blocked by carbon dioxide or the like, mold or fine insects adhering to the surface or inside of the article or their spores or eggs are directly attached to the article. Over time, air (oxygen) gradually enters the packaging of the article, which causes mold or fine insects or spores or eggs attached to the surface or inside of the article to breathe. It was blown back and proliferated in large quantities. As a result, it was in a situation where precious items were discolored, and it was tattered by mold and worms.
Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above situation, and without performing any sterilization treatment with a chemical agent, for example, articles such as books, clothing, antiques, footwear, furniture, toys, bedding, precious metals, etc. The present invention provides an apparatus for sterilizing / disinfecting / preserving articles and a method for preserving them for a long period of time.
For this reason, the present invention contains ozone gas, gas supply means for supplying carbon dioxide gas or nitrogen gas, or a mixed gas of carbon dioxide gas and nitrogen gas, an article inside, and a gas from the gas supply means inside. An article cover member that forms a space to be enclosed, and the article cover member is filled with ozone gas, and after a certain period of time, carbon dioxide gas or nitrogen gas is brought into contact with the article to sterilize, disinfect, and store the article. The present invention provides a sterilizing / disinfecting / preserving apparatus for articles characterized by
Thus, in the present invention, first, mold or fine insects or their spores or eggs adhering to the surface or inside of the article are sterilized by ozone gas, and then carbon dioxide gas, nitrogen gas or these By bringing the mixed gas into contact with the article, the article is sterilized, disinfected, and stored.

The article cover member is a bag made of a pressure-resistant, non-breathable, and non-breathable material. The material of the article cover member is preferably, for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinylidene chloride, polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl chloride, polyamide resin, polytetrafluoroethylene, or a multilayer or composite of these materials. It is.
The present invention also includes a step of extracting air from an article cover member containing articles, a step of injecting ozone gas into the article cover member, and sealing the interior of the article cover member for a predetermined time to cause ozone gas to enter the article. A step of contacting, a step of extracting ozone gas in the article cover member, a step of injecting carbon dioxide gas or nitrogen gas into the article cover member, and a sealing of the article cover member in a state filled with the carbon dioxide gas or nitrogen gas. It comprises a gas supply means 10 and an article cover member 20 that houses an article (here, shoes are shown as an example) 100 and forms a space that encloses the gas supplied from the gas supply means 10 inside. The
Here, “articles” to which the article sterilization / disinfection / preservation apparatus 1 of the present invention is applied are, for example, books, clothing, antiques, footwear, furniture, toys, bedding, and precious metals.
The gas cylinder supply means 10 is composed of a gas cylinder or the like, and includes an ozone gas supply means 11 that supplies ozone gas to the article cover member 20, a carbon dioxide supply means 12 that supplies carbon dioxide, and a nitrogen gas supply means 13 that supplies nitrogen gas. The These gas supply means 10 are provided with a regulator (not shown) for adjusting the gas pressure.
The article cover member 20 includes an opening 21 and includes a sealable bag or the like for accommodating the article 100. Other than the bag, a box shape or the like may be used as long as the article can be stored and sealed. The article cover member 20 is made of a pressure-resistant and non-breathable material, and has a size that covers the entire article in accordance with the article 100 to be accommodated. Examples of the material are preferably polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinylidene chloride, polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl chloride, polyamide resin, polytetrafluoroethylene, or a multilayer or composite of these materials.
Here, although the bag which can accommodate the shoes which are the articles | goods 100 is shown as the article | item cover member 20, the opening / closing means 24 is provided in the opening part 21 of this article | item cover member 20. That is, it is configured to open when the article 100 is accommodated and to be closed during sterilization / disinfection / preservation processing. For example, it is preferable to use a detachable opening / closing tool by fitting concave and convex tapes called zipper tapes with each other. On the other hand, instead of providing such opening / closing means 24, the opening 21 may be closed by means such as heat sealing.
Further, the article cover member 20 is provided with a gas supply port 22 for introducing gas into the inside and an exhaust port (gas removal port) 23 for discharging and removing the gas in the article cover member 20. It has been.
The gas supply pipe 31 is connected to the gas supply port 22, and the gas from the gas supply means 10 is supplied into the article cover member 20 from here. A check valve is provided inside the gas supply port 22 to prevent the backflow of gas.
Further, the discharge port 23 is a vent for discharging the gas in the article cover member 20. A check valve for preventing a back flow of gas is also provided inside the discharge port 23.
Next, the procedure for using the above-described sterilizing / disinfecting / preserving apparatus 1 for this article will be described with reference to FIG.
First, in the state where the article 100 is accommodated in the article cover member 20, the air in the article cover member 20 is extracted from the discharge port 23 (step S1).
Next, ozone gas is injected into the article cover member 20 from the ozone supply means 11 (step S2).
When the ozone gas is appropriately injected into the article cover member 20, the supply of the ozone gas is stopped, the sealed state is maintained for a predetermined time, and the article is brought into contact with the ozone gas (step S3).
Next, the ozone gas in the article cover member 20 is extracted from the discharge port 23 (step S4).
Next, carbon dioxide gas from the carbon dioxide supply means 12, nitrogen gas from the nitrogen gas supply means 13, or a mixed gas thereof is injected into the article cover member 20 (step S5). Thereby, the ozone gas in the article cover member 20 is excluded.
When carbon dioxide gas, nitrogen gas, or a mixed gas thereof is appropriately injected into the article cover member 20, the supply of gas is stopped and sealed as it is (step S6). This completes the sterilization / disinfection / storage process of the article. For example, when the article 100 to be handled is a fragile object, the gas in the article cover member 20 can also serve as a buffer material, and here, the article cover member 20 is sealed without being pulled out.
On the other hand, for reasons such as space saving, the carbon dioxide gas or nitrogen gas in the article cover member 20 or a mixed gas thereof can be removed and stored in a vacuum. FIG. 3 shows the procedure.
First, in the state where the article 100 is accommodated in the article cover member 20, the air in the article cover member 20 is extracted from the discharge port 23 (step S11).
Next, ozone gas is injected into the article cover member 20 from the ozone supply means 11 (step S12).
When the ozone gas is appropriately injected into the article cover member 20, the supply of the ozone gas is stopped, the sealed state is maintained for a predetermined time as it is, and the article is brought into contact with the ozone gas (step S13).
Next, the ozone gas in the article cover member 20 is extracted from the discharge port 23 (step S14).
Next, carbon dioxide gas from the carbon dioxide supply means 12, nitrogen gas from the nitrogen gas supply means 13, or a mixed gas thereof is injected into the article cover member 20, and ozone gas in the article cover member 20 is excluded. (Step S15). When carbon dioxide gas, nitrogen gas, or a mixed gas thereof is appropriately injected into the article cover member 20, the supply of gas is stopped.
Next, carbon dioxide gas, nitrogen gas, or a mixed gas thereof is extracted from the article cover member 20 through the discharge port 23, and the article cover member 20 is evacuated (step S16).
Next, the article cover member 20 is sealed (step S17). This completes the sterilization / disinfection / storage process of the article.
Note that it is preferable to provide a gas venting device 41 at the outlet 23 of the article cover member 20 as shown in FIG. The degassing device 41 is composed of a manual pump or an electric pump. When the size of the article 100 is small, the gas in the article cover member 20 may be pushed out by hand, but the internal gas can be more easily extracted by using a manual negative pressure pump as the degassing device 41. it can. When the size of the article 100 is large, the gas may be discharged from the article cover member to the outside with an electric pump. Thus, the gas in the article cover member 20 is removed by setting the atmospheric pressure in the article cover member 20 to a negative pressure with respect to the atmospheric pressure using the gas venting device 41.
In addition, although the example which provided the gas supply port 22 and the discharge port 23 in the article | item cover member 20 separately was shown above, these can also be combined. In the article sterilization / disinfection / storage apparatus 1 shown in FIG. 5, the article cover member 20 </ b> A includes a gas supply port and a discharge port 25 that serve as both, instead of the gas supply port and the discharge port. In the article sterilizing / disinfecting / preserving apparatus 1 </ b> A, gas supply to the article cover member 20 </ b> A is switched between supply and discharge by operating the switching valve 51. When gas is injected into the article cover member 20A, the gas in the article cover member 20A is first discharged from the gas supply and discharge port 25, and then the switching valve 51 is switched. Thus, the structure of the article cover member 20A can be simplified and simplified by using one gas supply and discharge port 25 that serves both as a gas supply port and a discharge port.
As described above, according to the apparatus and method for sterilizing / disinfecting / preserving articles according to the present invention, first, mold or fine insects or spores or eggs adhering to the surface or inside of the article are sterilized by ozone gas. The article is sterilized, and then the article is sterilized / disinfected / preserved by bringing the article into contact with carbon dioxide gas, nitrogen gas or a mixed gas thereof. This allows for long-term storage of the article. Such sterilization, disinfection, and storage using ozone gas, carbon dioxide gas, and nitrogen gas are advantageous in that they have less adverse effects on humans and the environment and are less expensive than chemicals.
Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications are possible based on the spirit of the present invention, and these are not excluded from the scope of the present invention.
The present invention relates to an article sterilizing / disinfecting / preserving apparatus and method for sterilizing / disinfecting / preserving articles using ozone gas, carbon dioxide gas, and nitrogen gas, and has industrial applicability.
