Abstract
A invention to correct or enhance the vision in one eye of the user, by utilising a corrective lens (1). Held in a oval and arcuate soft material housing (2). When retained in the eye orbit after being presented to the eye orbit using finger tab (3). While attached to a secure point using a cord or similar threaded through the securing grommet (4).
Description

Background
This invention relates to device to correct or enhance the vision in one eye of the user by utilising a corrective lens held in a oval and arcuate soft material housing which can be positioned and retained in the eye orbit.
A person can experience problems reading text or graphics on any medium if the user has vision issues or there is poor light provision.
This problem can be mitigated by the person using spectacles to correct the problem but for a number of reasons this can be problematic as detailed below.
Having to transport spectacles in a protective case to protect them from damage. Damage to the spectacles by not using using a protective case.
The protective case having to be stored while the spectacles are being used. The protective case taking up a large amount of pocket or handbag space Careful the protective case with spectacles is not crushed in pockets or bags The time taken to locate the spectacles in a pocket or bag, remove the spectacles from the case, unfold the arms of the spectacles, position the spectacles on the nose and ears then reverse the whole operation after use.
Statement of Invention
To overcome this the present invention proposes the utilisation of a device that can be quickly removed from the pocket, handbag or other location, placed directly in the eye orbit or held to the eye and used to mitigate the visual acuity issue then after use replaced directly in the pocket, handbag or other location.
Advantages
The invention takes up a minimum amount of space in a , pocket or handbag. The invention can be stored directly in a pocket or bag eliminating the need for a protective spectacle case.
The invention is available for immediate use as opposed to spectacles.
The invention is manufactured from a soft flexible material for user comfort and resist damage while in pockets or handbags.
The invention is shaped to fit into the eye orbit of the user
• Optical lenses can be changed by the user
Introduction to Drawings
The invention will now be described solely by way of example arid with reference to the accompanying drawings
Figure 1 to 14
Shows the the invention from 11 different views,
Features identified in drawings are Items 1 to 4 detailed below.
1. Corrective lens
2. Oval and Arcuate Soft Material Housing
3. Securing Grommet
4. Finger Tab
Detailed Description
Item 1
Details the optical lens in position in the device, the lens can be of varying optical strengths dependant on requirement.
The design of the invention and the material used allows the user to easily remove the lens by applying pressure to the edge of the housing with the finger and thumb and by slightly bending the housing material away from the lens allowing the lens edge to be exposed and the lens removed from the housing.
Insertion of a new or replacement lens can be performed by presenting the lens edge to the housing edge recess and manipulating the housing edge around the lens edge until the whole lens is accommodated in the housing.
This is possible by the provision of a recess in the inner edge of the housing for the accommodation of the lens edge shown in Figure 11 View A-A
Item 2
The soft material housing is oval and arcuate to comfortably fit in the eye orbit of the user.
The housing is manufactured from soft material which allows the user to better grip the invention with the upper and lower areas of the eye orbit while in use therefore releasing the hands to carry out other tasks.
Item 3
The securing grommet is provided for a cord or similar and used to attach the invention to any secure point e.g. clothing, handbag.
Item 4
The finger tab allows for easy presentation into the eye orbit while the user grips the invention with the facial muscles.

Claims
1) A device to correct or enhance the vision in one eye by utilising a corrective optical lens held in a oval and arcuate soft material housing, a finger tab, and a securing grommet which can be retained in the eye orbit
2) A device to correct or enhance the vision in one eye according to claim 1
where the device is arcuate across both its longitudinal and transverse axes
3) The device to correct or enhance the vision in one eye according to claim 1 having a finger tab formed as part of the housing to allow the device to be held to the eye by the fingers of the user
4) The device to correct or enhance the vision in one eye according to claim 2
where the finger tab allows the device to be held to the eye by the fingers of the user without touching the lens
5) The device to correct or enhance the vision in one eye according to claim 2
where the finger tab allows the device when being presented to the eye orbit for retention by using the facial muscles
6) The device to correct or enhance the vision in one eye according to claim 1 having a securing grommet provided to hold a cord or similar which is used to attach the device to a secure point
7) The device to correct or enhance the vision in one eye according to claim 1 having a recess in the inner edge of the soft material housing to accommodate an edge of the lens
8) The device to correct or enhance the vision in one eye according to claim 1 where the lens may be removed from the soft material housing by applying pressure to an edge of the housing to bend the housing away from the lens to expose an edge of the lens which is then removed from the housing and where the lens maybe inserted onto the soft material housing by presenting an edge of the lens to a edge of the housing and manipulating the edge of the housing around the edge of the lens
