Definitions
- the present invention relates to a wind turbine output (active power) control device and control method.
- wind power generators (windmills) using wind power have been spreading from the viewpoint of conservation of the global environment.
- the kinetic energy of wind is converted into the rotational energy of the rotor, and the rotational energy of the rotor is converted into electric power in the generator.
- a wind power generator is connected to a power system, and the power generated by the wind power generator is often supplied to the power system.
- the frequency of the power system is determined by the power supply / demand balance. That is, when the amount of power generation exceeds the amount of power demand, the generator connected to the power system tries to store excess power in the power system as rotational energy, resulting in an increase in the number of rotations of the generator (ie, the system frequency). . Conversely, when the amount of power generation falls below the amount of power demand, the generator connected to the power system releases rotational energy to make up for insufficient power in the power system, resulting in the rotation speed of the generator (ie, the system frequency). Decreases. Therefore, an operation (load following operation) that follows fluctuations in power demand (load) is performed at some power plants to maintain the power supply / demand balance as the entire power system.
- a power plant that performs load following operation is a thermal power plant that can control output relatively easily by adjusting a fuel supply amount. In this way, some thermal power plants are used as an adjustment power for maintaining a power supply-demand balance.
- nuclear power plants, hydroelectric power plants and the like are often used as a base supply force that constantly supplies a certain amount of power because output control in a short time is difficult.
- the adjustment power by the thermal power plant may be insufficient.
- the output upper limit value of the wind turbine generator may be set by a command from a power supply command station outside the wind turbine, for example.
- the PI controller 142 obtains an output command value P 0 * corresponding to the deviation between the current value ⁇ g of the generator speed and the target value ⁇ g *, and this output command value P 0 *. Is input to the output command value calculation unit 144. Further, the output command value calculation unit 144 receives the output maximum value P max and the output minimum value P min corresponding to the pitch angle command value ⁇ * of the windmill blade from the output limiter 146, and the output command value P * is obtained. It is limited to P min or more and P max or less. The output command value calculation unit 144 receives the previous value P * past of the output command value from the output command previous value update unit 145.
- the maximum output rate is input from the maximum output rate setting unit 110 to the output command value calculation unit 144, and the change rate of the wind turbine output is limited to the maximum output rate or less.
- the fixed output rate V constant2 is the maximum output rate from the maximum output rate setting unit 110 to the output command value calculation unit. 144 is input. Then, in the output command value calculation unit 144, the output rate V * calculated by using the previous value P * past of the output command input from the output command previous value update unit 145 and the current value P 0 * of the output command. The output command value P * is calculated so as not to exceed the maximum output rate. The output command value * thus obtained is sent to the output control unit 149 via the CCU 148 and used for control in the output control unit 149.
- the current value P of the wind turbine output is increased as much as possible under the constraint that the wind turbine output is suppressed to the output upper limit value P limit or less to improve profitability.
- the current value P of the wind turbine output is increased as much as possible under the constraint that the wind turbine output is suppressed to the output upper limit value P limit or less to improve profitability.
- the maximum output rate set by the maximum output rate setting unit 110 is fixed regardless of the difference between the output upper limit value P limit and the current value P of the wind turbine output.
- the change rate of the wind turbine output is limited by the maximum output rate Vconstant1 or Vconstant2 . Therefore, it is difficult to quickly reach the output upper limit value P limit while suppressing the output overshoot and undershoot with respect to the output upper limit value. That is, in the logic shown in FIG. 10, if importance is attached to the prevention of overshoot or undershoot of the current value P of the wind turbine output relative to the output upper limit value P limit , the fixed output rates V constant1 and V constant2 are reduced.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, can suppress output overshoot and undershoot with respect to the output upper limit value, and can quickly reach the wind turbine output near the output upper limit value. It is an object to provide an output control device and an output control method for a windmill.
- An output control device for a windmill includes an output difference calculation unit that calculates a difference with respect to an output of an output upper limit value of the windmill, and a maximum that sets a maximum output rate of the windmill according to the magnitude of the difference An output rate setting unit; an output command value calculation unit that calculates an output command value of the windmill so that a change rate of the output does not exceed the maximum output rate; and an output of the windmill based on the output command value.
- the output upper limit value of the windmill may be set uniquely by a control device mounted on the windmill, or set by a remote command station outside the windmill, such as a power supply command station (dispatch center), for example. It may be.
- the maximum output rate for limiting the change rate of the wind turbine output is set to a larger value as the difference between the output upper limit value and the wind turbine output is larger. It is possible to quickly reach the wind turbine output near the output upper limit value while suppressing the chute. That is, when the difference between the wind turbine output and the output upper limit is large and the possibility of overshoot and undershoot is low, the wind turbine output reaches the vicinity of the output upper limit by using a relatively large maximum output rate. Can be shortened.
- the output overshoot and undershoot with respect to the output upper limit value are used by using a relatively small maximum output rate. Can be suppressed. Suppressing the output overshoot and undershoot with respect to the output upper limit value means that the output overshoot amount and undershoot amount with respect to the output upper limit value are within the allowable range. It is not required to completely prevent this.
- the wind turbine output control device represents a relationship between the difference and the maximum output rate, the lookup table used for setting the maximum output rate in the maximum output rate setting unit, and the output upper limit And a table updating unit that updates the lookup table based on an overshoot amount or an undershoot amount of the output with respect to a value. Since there are individual differences in the response characteristics of the hardware (generator, inverter, etc.) that make up the windmill, the optimal contents of the lookup table used for setting the maximum output rate in the maximum output rate setting unit are Different for each windmill.
- the table update unit updates the lookup table based on the overshoot amount or the undershoot amount of the wind turbine output with respect to the output upper limit value, so that the contents of the lookup table are individually appropriate for each wind turbine. Can be. Further, even if the hardware response characteristic changes with time, the contents of the lookup table can be appropriately changed by following the change in the hardware response characteristic.
- the table update unit when the absolute value ⁇ X of the change amount is larger than the absolute value
- ⁇ X of the change amount When the absolute value ⁇ X of the change amount is larger than the absolute value
- the look-up table is appropriately updated by updating the maximum output rate corresponding to the past value X past of the difference from V to
- the look-up table when the look-up table is updated by the table updating unit as described above, the look-up table includes an ascending table used when the output is smaller than the output upper limit value, and the output is greater than the output upper limit value.
- the maximum output rate corresponding to the difference may be smaller in the ascending table than in the descending table.
- the restriction of suppressing the wind turbine output below the output upper limit value may be given priority over the desire to increase the wind turbine output as much as possible.
- the output upper limit value set by the command from the power supply command center outside the wind turbine when the power system adjustment power (lowering allowance) is not sufficient relates to the official purpose of maintaining the power supply-demand balance in the power system. is there.
- the table update unit has the absolute value ⁇ X of the change amount larger than the absolute value
- the maximum output rate corresponding to the past value X past may be updated from V to a value smaller than
- the ascent table is updated appropriately so that the contents of the ascent table are appropriate for each windmill. Can be. Further, even if the hardware response characteristics change with the passage of time, the contents of the ascending table can be appropriately changed by following the change in the hardware response characteristics.
- the wind turbine output control device determines whether or not the wind turbine is abnormal based on the update frequency of the look-up table in the table update unit.
- An abnormality determining unit may be further provided. For example, when the update frequency of the lookup table is higher than expected, it is considered that an abnormality (rapid deterioration or failure more than expected) has occurred in the windmill. Therefore, the state of the windmill can be monitored by providing an abnormality determination unit that determines whether there is an abnormality in the windmill based on the update frequency of the lookup table.
- the wind turbine output control device determines whether or not the wind turbine is abnormal based on a change with time of the overshoot amount or the undershoot amount.
- An abnormality determining unit may be further provided. For example, when the overshoot amount or the undershoot amount suddenly increases, it is considered that an abnormality (rapid deterioration or failure more than expected) has occurred in the windmill. Therefore, the state of the windmill can be monitored by providing an abnormality determination unit that determines whether there is an abnormality in the windmill based on the change over time in the overshoot amount or the undershoot amount.
- the output difference calculation unit obtains a difference with respect to the output of the output upper limit value as a whole of the plurality of wind turbines belonging to the wind farm, and the maximum output rate setting unit calculates the magnitude of the difference. Accordingly, the maximum output rate as a whole of the plurality of windmills belonging to the wind farm is set, and the output command value calculation unit is configured to output the output command value as a whole of the plurality of windmills belonging to the wind farm. And the output control unit may control the output as a whole of the plurality of wind turbines belonging to the wind farm based on the output command value.
- the output of the entire wind farm is suppressed while suppressing overshoot and undershoot of the output of the entire wind farm. It is possible to quickly reach the vicinity of the output upper limit value.
- the wind turbine output control method includes a step of obtaining a difference with respect to the output of the output upper limit value of the wind turbine, a step of setting a maximum output rate of the wind turbine according to the magnitude of the difference, A step of calculating an output command value of the windmill so that an output change rate does not exceed the maximum output rate; and a step of controlling the output of the windmill based on the output command value, the maximum output rate
- the maximum output rate is set to a larger value as the absolute value of the difference is larger, at least in a range where the absolute value of the difference is not more than a threshold value.
- the maximum output rate for limiting the change rate of the wind turbine output is set to a larger value as the difference between the wind turbine output and the output upper limit value is larger. It is possible to quickly reach the wind turbine output near the output upper limit value while suppressing undershoot.
- the maximum output rate for limiting the change rate of the wind turbine output is set to a larger value as the difference between the wind turbine output and the output upper limit value is larger, so overshoot and undershoot are suppressed.
- the wind turbine output can be quickly reached near the output upper limit value.

- the abnormality determination unit 80 may determine whether there is an abnormality in the windmill based on at least one of the update frequency of the lookup table and the change over time of the overshoot amount or the undershoot amount. For example, the abnormality determination unit 80 determines whether or not the update frequency of the lookup table exceeds a predetermined threshold based on the information regarding the update frequency of the lookup table received from the table update unit 60, and An abnormality may be detected. When the update frequency of the lookup table is higher than expected, it is considered that an abnormality (rapid deterioration or failure more than expected) has occurred in the windmill. Therefore, it is possible to monitor the state of the windmill by determining whether there is an abnormality in the windmill based on the update frequency of the lookup table.
- the abnormality determination unit 80 determines that the increase amount of the overshoot amount or the undershoot amount in the predetermined period exceeds the predetermined threshold based on the information regarding the change over time of the overshoot amount or the undershoot amount received from the table update unit 60. It may be determined whether or not the wind turbine is abnormal. When the overshoot amount or the undershoot amount suddenly increases, it is considered that an abnormality (rapid deterioration or failure more than expected) has occurred in the wind turbine. Therefore, it is possible to monitor the state of the windmill by providing an abnormality determination unit that determines whether there is an abnormality in the windmill based on a change with time of the overshoot amount or the undershoot amount.

Abstract
