Abstract

Devices and techniques for collecting and mechanically homogenizing biological samples by exchanging a collected biological sample between two degassed volumes, one of which is a sample aliquot unit, are discussed. The sample collection unit may be sized for use in a hospital environment, including pneumatic delivery systems.
