The object of the invention is to achieve a continuous band that incorporates two rectangular plates of plastic material and a series of windows and, where appropriate, perforations, from which it is possible to obtain, by joining its heat-welded edges, a bag, two of whose sides are rigid, and that once filled with the product to be packaged, it adopts a shape similar to a tray or basket and that has one or more perforations, in order to obtain a maximum mechanical resistance of the bag, a correct aeration of the products, an optimal protection of the products contained therein against crushing, a greater printing capacity in the bag and a faster manufacturing of the bag and its filling.
Antecedentes de la invención. Background of the invention.
Certain fruit and vegetable products, such as tomatoes, cherries, oranges, etc., have long been marketed in paper or cardboard baskets or wooden or plastic boxes that in many cases are protected and wrapped in perforated or not plastic bags that allow both product aeration, display Direct product, protection against crushing and facilitate storage or exposure in the exhibitors and linear points of sale.
The above baskets or boxes must be filled with the aforementioned products manually or by machines with low production speeds. In addition, later these baskets or boxes have to be wrapped in plastic bags. The process of packaging the fruit and vegetable products in these baskets or boxes is slow and the materials have a high cost.
Descripción de la invención. Description of the invention
The continuous band for manufacturing bags proposed by the invention constitutes a new technological advance in this field and is based on the use of a continuous band that is intended to close on itself, by joining its longitudinal edges by means of a parallel heat welding to said longitudinal edges, to configure a fragmentable continuous tube in a plurality of sectors corresponding to the respective bags, said continuous band has one or more windows and, where appropriate, perforations of the same or different size. Said continuous band is a continuous sheet of plastic, of a width equal to that of the continuous band. Corresponding to each of the sectors of the continuous plastic sheet provided for obtaining a bag, two rectangular plates of plastic material whose longitudinal axes are parallel to the longitudinal axis of the continuous plastic sheet are attached to said continuous plastic sheet .
In a preferred embodiment of the invention the distance between the longitudinal axes of the two rectangular plastic plates is half the width of the continuous plastic sheet.
In another preferred embodiment of the invention the length of the rectangular plastic plates is less than the length of the sectors provided for obtaining a bag less the width of said rectangular plates. In another preferred embodiment, the rectangular plastic plates are attached to the continuous plastic sheet by heat welding or gluing. The material of the rectangular plastic plates can be polypropylene or polystyrene.
Likewise, in correspondence with each of the sectors of the continuous plastic sheet, at least one window can be established, which is closed with the collaboration of a network fragment, formally and dimensionally appropriate to said window and fixed by heat welding to the periphery of said windows, such that the windows do not overlap with rectangular plastic plates.
Furthermore, when only one window is established in the continuous plastic sheet, it can be placed centered with respect to the longitudinal axis of said continuous plastic sheet and on both sides of it, small perforations, lacking a net, that do not coincide with the position of rectangular plates. The net that closes the window can be a continuous strip of net that runs longitudinally through the continuous sheet of plastic.
