Abstract

The present invention relates to a secret file storage and user identification service. The purpose of the present invention is to propose a system and a method for providing a file storage service, which enable a user to deposit a secret file of his/her own. To this end, the purpose of the present invention is to propose a system configured such that there is no indication relating to a user left in particular in a user's account information so that anyone, even someone who is the closest confidant to the user, has a difficulty in inferring the user. Another purpose of the present invention is to propose a system and a method for user identification which is required in the event of re-issuance of various passwords, using a secret storage. As one embodiment for achieving the purpose of the present invention, a map-based file storage system (hereinafter referred to as a "secret storage") is proposed. People have different lives, and therefore, may have different places of special memories, and also may wish to go to different special places. Such a matter may be known only to him/her. The present invention is proposed based on this point. A user may operate an actual map application in connection with a system that provides an actual map (or a street view) such as Google Earth, Google Maps or Street View to select a place to be designated as a secrete storage, may set an ID and password according to a guidance of a server to generate a secret storage, and may re-open the map as needed to hide a file or view the hidden file. In addition, user identification means using the secret storage generates a disposable direct input address in the secret storage and submits the generated address to a server that performs user identification later. The server transmits a user identification key for identifying a user to the address and considers the user who searches the secret storage for his/her identification key and inputs the found key as an authenticated user when the server performs user identification. As described above, the present invention enables a user to open and use a secret storage using the place, time, concept, scene, sound or the like which can be memorized only by him/her, and enables a convenient and reliable user identification.
