It can be seen from Fig. 1 that the illuminating device comprises a printed circuit board 4 and a plurality of LED chips 5 as light-emitting element ar ⁇ ranged on the printed circuit board 4. In addition, a lens 1 is arranged over the LED chips 5 formed with a plurality of lens sub-units la each corresponding to one LED chip 5. It can be seen further from Fig. 1 that a light emergent surface 2 of each lens sub-unit la is a curved, thus, an unsmooth structure is formed on a side surface of the whole lens 1 op ⁇ posite to the LED chips 5.

However, the LED chips 5 could also be placed in another pattern like hexagonal or even an arbitrary place- ment .

  • the light emergent surface 3 is a flat surface, in daily use, droplets, particles, dusts, etc. will be hard to converge on the light emergent surface 3 of the lens 1, so that the light distribution performance of the illuminating device will not be affected, the light shape formed by light from the illuminating device will not be changed.
  • the outer surface of the lens 1 is regular flat surface, it is quite easy to be cleaned in main ⁇ tenance .
  • Fig. 4a-Fig. 4b are different section views of the lens 1 of the present invention. It can be seen from Fig. 4a that a curve of the light incident surface 2 on a cross section A is mirror symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal section B perpendicular to the cross section A. And it can be seen from Fig. 4b that a curve of the light incident surface 2 on the longitudinal section B is asymmetrical with respect to the cross section A so as to obtain expected light shapes. For example, when the illuminating device is used as streetlamp, a batwing light shape can be obtained (see Fig. 5) . Moreover, as seen from Fig. 4a and Fig. 4b, the light emergent surface 3 is a flat surface.
  • the light emergent surface 2 of the lens 1 of the present invention also can be configured to be spherical or free surface for obtaining expected light shapes.
  • the lens 1 is made from glass or transparent plastic.

La présente invention concerne une lentille (1) destinée à un dispositif d'éclairage qui comprend un ensemble électroluminescent, la lentille (1) comprenant une pluralité de surfaces à lumière incidente (2) et une surface à lumière émergente (3), les surfaces à lumière incidente (2) étant incurvées vers la surface à lumière émergente (3), respectivement, pour former des cavités de logement afin de loger respectivement un élément électroluminescent des ensembles électroluminescents et la surface à lumière émergente (3) étant conçue pour être une surface plate. En outre, l'invention concerne un dispositif d'éclairage qui comporte ladite lentille.
