Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a machine component (10) for an electric machine, in particular a stator, comprising the following steps: winding several individual tooth segments (12) with respective individual coils, wherein several of the individual coils in a coil group are formed by means of a continuous winding wire, wherein a section of the winding wire extends between the individual coils as a connecting wire (16, 18); arranging an insulating element (22) on the connecting wire (16, 18); and assembling the individual wound tooth segments (12) of the coil group and one or more additional wound tooth segments (12) in order to form the machine component (10), wherein the assembly is performed in such a way that the insulating element (22) is arranged between the connecting wire (16, 18) and coil sides of the additional tooth segments (12).
