Abstract
The invention relates to a method for operating at least one lighting means (4), such as a gas discharge lamp, on the basis of a clocked switched-mode regulator circuit (2) preferably designed as an inverter, wherein a switch (S1, S2) of the switched-mode regulator circuit (2) is controlled by a control signal (VS1, VS2), wherein the control signal (VS1, VS2) is provided by a control unit (5) at a connection (11) of the control unit (5), and in time segments in which the switch (S1, S2) is not controlled by the control unit (5), the connection (11) is used by the control unit (5) to receive signals.
