Abstract
Le présent brevet de modèle d'utilité concerne une bande étroite disposée à côté de la courroie, avec le même profil que cette dernière, conçue en un matériau 20% plus fragile que le matériau d'origine de la courroie, de sorte que sa rupture intervienne avant celle de la courroie, ce qui évite la rupture inattendue de cette dernière. L'invention consiste en une bande étroite d'alerte (1) latéralement collée à la courroie dentée du véhicule, surveillée par un capteur électrique (3) joint à ladite bande étroite d'alerte (1), de manière à en indiquer la rupture au moyen d'un signal envoyé au tableau du véhicule (4), sous la forme d'un clignotement (5), ce qui permet au conducteur de changer la courroie en temps utile et d'éviter tout endommagement de son véhicule.
