Abstract
Un système est mis en oeuvre pour configurer une unité de gestion de mémoire d'entrée/sortie (IOMMU) pour fournir à au moins un dispositif/périphérique d'entrée/sortie (I/O) un accès direct à des données de la mémoire système. En outre la IOMMU est configurée pour transférer un pointeur à au moins un dispositif I/O sans avoir à traduire le pointeur. En outre, des instructions de commande sont envoyées, à partir d'un processus dans un système d'exploitation (OS) hôte, directement à un périphérique, sans intervention d'un hyperviseur. Enfin, la IOMMU est configurée pour accorder aux périphériques des autorisations d'accès à des blocs de mémoire de façon à maintenir l'isolement entre périphériques.
