Abstract

Cette invention concerne un système de contrôle des solides qui sépare les solides de la boue de forage usagée. Ledit système est un système en boucle fermée disposé sur un seul châssis mobile. Un premier et un second séparateur sont disposés à des extrémités opposées du châssis mobile. En fonction de la nature des solides qu'elle contient, la boue de forage usagée est dirigée soit vers le premier et le second séparateur en série, où le fluide de forage est alourdi, ou au moins vers le second séparateur si le fluide de forage est léger. Ledit second séparateur peut être un agencement parallèle du premier et du second séparateur. Des agents déshydratants peuvent être ajoutés à la boue de forage usagée avant le premier ou les deux séparateurs. Les séparateurs peuvent être élevés ou abaissés au-dessus des bacs collecteurs de façon à permettre le passage de divers appareils de forage.
