Abstract
The invention relates to wastewater purification devices and can be used in the public utilities sector at plants for purifying wastewater of suspended solids. The technical result of the invention is an increase in the quality of wastewater purification as a result of reducing the concentration of suspended solids in the purified water in a wastewater treatment plant sedimentation tank. The technical result is achieved in that the device for reducing the concentration of suspended solids in purified water comprises the basin of a sedimentation tank, and a catchment gutter into which water purified in the sedimentation tank passes via an overflow, wherein a collector is situated at the overflow point, said collector having filters connected thereto that extend from the collector into the basin filled with water purified by sedimentation, and the catchment gutter is divided by a longitudinal partition into two races, one of which serves to remove filtered water entering the race via outlet pipes of the collector, and the other of which serves to remove unfiltered water from the sedimentation tank basin when the latter overflows.
