Abstract
The present invention is premised on the idea of exploiting the dynamic actions which develop during the motion of a baggage for any effect of the dynamic interaction between the same and the person or the vehicle which carries it, so as to obtain energy which is used directly or stored on baggage for subsequent use, in combination with other renewable sources such as solar PV. All to create an accumulation of energy available to the user to be able to exploit as needed, through an interface similar to an portable plug.
Description
DESCRIPTION
"BAGGAGE FOR THE RECOVERY OF ENERGY FROM THE DYNAMIC MOVEMENT5OF THE BAGGAGE"
TEXT OF THE DESCTRIPTION
Object of the patent is any luggage in general, such as handbags, suitcases, trolley, beauty case and so similar to what was previously described that incorporates a device of the type mentioned above.
The man and the baggage is an excellent example of how the human body and an industrial product to function as a single mechanical entity.
The primary task of the present invention is to provide technology capable of using the energy put into play during the walking movement by the biomechanics entity man-baggage and/or during the movement due to the transport of luggage in any vehicle to transform in power directly or store it for later use.
The inventor has suggested that in the movement of a bag, at least part of the energy put into play can be recovered by providing, within the same tissue of luggage, the transducers capable of transforming the kinetic energy of the movement into energy usable otherwise.
Following a series of experimental tests has been achieved to provide a device for recovering the energy put into play during normal movement, which device is formed by mechanisms or piezoelectric materials installed in the luggage suitable for transforming stresses arising from the dynamic interaction between the luggage carried, the person and / or vehicle into electrical impulses that will be used, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, electronic equipment such as mobile phones, laptops, musical/mp3 readers and so on.
Are evident The advantages which the invention entails are evident. In fact, the possibility to use an electrical device or recharge their batteries becomes extremely important in places without connection to the electric network or in any short or long term journey.
Using the energy generated then you can always have with us a source of clean recharge for our mobile devices.
The surrounding environment can be seen as a huge container of energy. This energy can be present in many forms and in large quantities: thermal, acoustic, electromagnetic, mechanical, light, chemical.
l
The harvesting (recycling) energy can be understood as the art to recover small amounts of energy, in order to use them to increase the energy autonomy of the portable devices, through a handset plug as shown in figure 1/2.
The use of piezoelectric can then be integrated with the aid of other accumulators of clean energy, such as photovoltaic cells. The two sources of energy are placed in parallel and used for the generation of energy.
Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will be evident from the description which follows with reference to the accompanying drawings which illustrate, only by way of non-limiting example, some preferred embodiments.
TABLES
Figure 1/2 shows examples of storage to which it is possible to apply the device in question and the integration of the plug.
Figure 2/2 Schematic of embodiment of a piezoelectric transformer.
With reference to Fig 2/2, the piezoelectric transducer can be a piezoceramic transducer, commercially available as disks or plates of piezoceramic material. Alternatively piezoelectric transducers may be thin films of piezoelectric materials or plaques of PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) coated by one or more metal layers and any other application piezoelectric.
The piezoelectric transformer (T) can be attached at any part of the luggage shown in Fig 1/2.
The movement of the luggage generates change in mechanical status of piezoelectric transducer and thus the generation of electrical energy that is made available at the output.
Then the piezoelectric transformer (T) acts as a means of generation of electricity by exploiting the movement of the luggage.
For this purpose, the piezoelectric transducer has two output terminals (1 , 2) intended to be connected to electrical devices that has to be electrically charged, such as mobile phones, laptops, musical/mp3 readers or to an energy accumulator, such as rechargeable batteries.
Between the output terminals (1 , 2) can be arranged a load resistor (R) in accordance with the device to be connected
A decoupling capacitor (C) is arranged in parallel to the load resistance (R). Between the output terminals (1, 2) can be arranged a rectifier (R) for providing a DC current suitable to power devices that require DC power.
Advantageously the energy-generating means constituted by the piezoelectric transformer (T) can be enhanced with other means of energy generation constituted by photovoltaic cells that take advantage of the light coming from the sun or other light source such as lamps. In this case the photovoltaic cells are associated in parallel of piezoelectric transducers.
