Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé consistant à recevoir une entrée d'un caractère d'un clavier virtuel rendu sur un écran, générer un ensemble de caractères qui comprend le caractère, et afficher l'ensemble généré de caractères à un emplacement qui est associé au clavier virtuel et qui est à l'écran. L'invention concerne un dispositif électronique comprenant un écran sur lequel est rendu un clavier virtuel ainsi qu'un processeur, le processeur étant configuré pour mettre en œuvre le procédé. L'invention concerne également un clavier comprenant une pluralité de touches, chaque touche correspondant à un ou plusieurs caractères différents appartenant à une pluralité de caractères. En réponse à la réception d'une entrée d'un caractère, le clavier est configuré pour générer un ensemble de caractères qui comprend le caractère, et le clavier est également configuré pour provoquer l'affichage de l'ensemble généré de caractères à un emplacement qui est associé au clavier virtuel et qui est à l'écran.
