Definitions

  • Single molds simulating the skin effect of intramuscular injection of attenuated botulinum toxin.
  • the present utility model patent relates to single thickness laminar devices with circumferential shapes, with radius measurements that vary respectively with the cutaneous effect of different dosages of botulinum toxin type A. It also has a small perforation-like central hole to serve as injection site locator and marker. These small discs simulating the cutaneous effect of intramuscular application of botulinum toxin are used to help identify and position the injection site of this drug. According to the position of the disc, the approximate range of skin effect resulting from the applied dose is shown. The device is placed on the patient's skin in the desired treatment area. From the perforation of the central point of the disc, the injection point will be marked, simulating very closely the effect of radiant diffusion of the drug. .
  • botulinum toxin type A for aesthetic purposes on the face are performed in variable ways through the determination of application points and amount of dose to be applied at each point, according to the practical experiences of several physicians, who publish their techniques in scientific articles in specialized journals, basing their claims on approximate diffusions of the drug. Labels provided by the labs supplement the information and do not offer ancillary devices.
  • the present use model proposes a more specific pattern of application which, in addition to determining the range of drug doses, provides a preview of the effect. By simply placing the laminar devices on the skin, one can simply mark Use a pencil or pen appropriate to the area of the device and use it next to the marking to trace the next diameter of application.
  • botulinum toxin type A we applied botulinum toxin type A at specific doses and observed the format and dimensions of the results. From this we averaged the results and put them in the mold formats. That is why we emphasize that the dimensions are approximate.
  • botulinum toxin type A has been tested on several people of different sex, race and size, with only minor variations. Due to this information we find it valid even if slight variations in range exist that make use of the disc. At Differences will not contribute to the failure of the application causing error to occur, as the difference will be only a few millimeters.

  • Fig. 5 illustrates the shape of botulinum toxin applied with small 3mm ridges.
  • botulinum toxin type A There are already application templates for botulinum toxin type A registered, but they are configured as a single slide with markings on it - Pub. No .: US 2005/0148935. We believe we differentiate our molds mainly by the loose aspect of the units that facilitates the handling for the application, provides a more individualized application, paying attention to the details of anatomical variations of each individual; be easily included in the packaging of the drug itself, and enable greater stimulation and facilitation for the untried applicator
