Abstract
The circuit and procedure for measuring the quality of electrical energy in a high voltage grid consist of three high voltage devices for measuring current and voltage that consist of an electronic component (1), suspended on the high voltage potential and linked to the central processing unit on earth potential (9) by means of optical links (6, 6a). The CPU processes collected data on electrical quantities and calculates data on output quantities of true, reactive and harmonic components of collected signals and phase relationships between them. The circuit and procedure described herein enable the monitoring of the quality of electrical energy in accordance with the EN 50160 standard, the performance of protective functions and monitoring of the state of the high voltage capacitive divider for the purpose of preventing sudden failure.
