Abstract
The present invention relates to a new active cathode material comprising a compound of the following formula: Li2-xVO3-y where x represents a number such as 0≤x<1 and where y represents a number such as 0≤y≤0.1 for lithium batteries, the method of producing said material and the uses of same.
