Abstract

본 발명은 내연기관용 실린더장치에 관한 것으로, 실린더(1)와, 실린더(1) 내부에 설치된 피스톤(2)과, 실린더(1)에 연료를 분사하는 연료분사노즐(3)과, 실린더(1)내의 연료를 점화시키는 점화플러그(4)를 포함하는 내연기관에 있어서, 상기 점화플러그(4)가 2개 이상 설치되고, 상기 연료분사노즐(3)도 2개 이상 설치되며, 상기 연료분사노즐(3)로 공급되는 연료는 가열장치(5)로 예열되는 것을 특징으로 하여, 직경이 작은 다수의 연료분사노즐로 연료를 무화시켜 분사시키고, 다수의 점화플러그로 실린더 내의 무화된 연료를 동시에 점화시킴으로써 연소효율을 높이며, 연소효율 상승으로 미연소 가스 배출로 인한 공해 발생량을 감소시키며, 노킹현상을 최소화시키게 하는 것임.

Description

내연기관용 실린더장치
본 발명은 내연기관용 실린더장치의 개량에 관한 것이다.
차량용 내연기관은 내연기관의 흡입-압축-폭발-배기 과정에 있어서, 주입되는 연료가 점화플러그에 의하여 연료가 폭발되는데, 실린더 내 점화플러그로부터 이격된 구석은 폭발이 되지 않을 수 있어 불완전 연소의 우려가 있었고, 이에 따라 출력이 저하 및 노킹현상이 발생되는 문제가 있었다.
종래의 기술에 따르면, 점화플러그가 중앙 상단에 한 개만 위치하여, 폭발이 전파되는 시간을 고려하여 피스톤이 상사점에 도달하기 전, 다시 말해서 피스톤의 커넥팅로드와 크랭크가 수평으로 이루어지기 직전에 점화되는 것이 보통이었다. 이러한 시간차이로 폭발의 힘이 커넥팅로드를 밀어내는 데에 온전히 가해지지 못하는 경우가 발생하여 노킹현상을 야기하였다.
이에 본 발명은 각 실린더에 점화플러그를 2개 이상 설치하고, 분사노즐 또한 2개 이상 설치하여 상기와 같은 문제점을 해결하고자 한다
본 발명은 직경이 작은 다수의 연료분사노즐로 필요 연료량 모두를 단시간에 가열 무화시켜 분사시키고, 다수의 점화플러그로 실린더 내의 무화 및 기체화 된 연료를 동시에 점화시킴으로써 연소효율을 높이고, 연소 효율 상승으로 미 연소 가스 배출량을 감소시키어 공해를 감소시키게 하며, 연료를 절감시키는 효과가 있고, 노킹현상을 최소화시키게 하는 효과가 있다.

본 발명은 휘발유엔진이나 경유엔진으로 사용되는 내연기관용 실린더장치에 관한 것으로, 실린더(1)와, 실린더(1) 내부에 설치된 피스톤(2)과, 실린더(1)에 연료를 분사하는 연료분사노즐(3)과, 실린더(1)내의 연료를 점화시키는 점화플러그(4)를 포함하는 내연기관에 있어서, 상기 점화플러그(4)가 2개 이상 설치되고, 상기 연료분사노즐(3)도 2개 이상 설치되며, 상기 연료분사노즐(3)로 공급되는 연료의 공기는 가열장치(5)로 예열되는 것에 설치된 것을 특징으로 한다.
점화플러그(4)의 갯수는 실린더의 크기에 따라 선택될 수 있으며, 통상의 4기통 엔진의 경우 각 실린더에 5개의 점화플러그(4)를 이격시켜 설치하는 것이 바람직하다. 연료분사노즐(3) 또한 통상의 4기통 엔진의 경우 각 실린더에 2-5개 설치하되 그 직경을 종래 내연기간 노즐직경의 2분의 1내지 1/3로 줄여 분사되는 연료 전부를 2개이상의 노즐로 순간적으로 동시에 무화또는 기화시켜 폭발의 효율을 높인다. 즉, 직경이 작은 다수의 연료분사노즐로 연료를 동시에 무화시켜 분사시키고, 다수의 점화플러그로 실린더 내의 무화 및 기체화된 연료를 여러 부위에서 동시에 점화시킴으로써 점화플러그로부터의 무화된 연료까지의 통달 거리를 감소시켜 연소효율을 극대화시키고 노킹현상을 최소화시키게 하는 것이다. 이러한 구성에 따르면 피스톤이 상사점에 가까운 위치에 있을 때 점화시킬 수 있어 폭발의 효율을 크게 향상시키고 노킹의 우려를 낮출 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명은, 상기 연료분사노즐(3)로 공급되는 연료와 공기가 예열되도록 연료분사노즐(3)의 입측에 가열장치(5)가 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 실린더 장치를 제공한다. 이와 같은 본 발명은 상기 연료분사노즐(3)로 공급되는 연료와 공기를 가열장치(5)로 예열시킴으로써 외부온도가 낮은 환경에서도 폭발이 신속하게 이루어질 수 있게 한다. 이경우, 연료와 공기의 과열을 방지하기 위하여 가열장치(5)에는 온도조절장치를 설치하는 것이 바람직하다.
미설명부호 31은 흡기밸브이고, 6은 배기벨브이다

Claims (3)

  1. 실린더(1)와, 실린더(1) 내부에 설치된 피스톤(2)과, 실린더(1)에 연료를 분사하는 연료분사노즐(3)과, 실린더(1)내의 연료를 점화시키는 점화플러그(4)를 포함하는 내연기관에 있어서, 각 실린더(1)에 상기 점화플러그(4)가 2개 이상 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 실린더 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 각 실린더(1)에 상기 연료분사노즐(3)이 2개 이상 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 실린더 장치.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 연료분사노즐(3)로 공급되는 연료와 공기가 예열되도록 연료분사노즐(3)의 입측에 가열장치(5)가 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 실린더장치.
