Abstract

Disclosed is a toilet bowl capable of preventing a drain trap from becoming clogged. The disclosed toilet bowl comprises: a toilet-bowl body which contains a predetermined amount of water therein, and which receives feces and urine therein; and a water supply unit that supplies water to the toilet-bowl body. The toilet-bowl body includes: a main passage for discharging feces and urine to a port for discharging waste material; and at least one clog-preventing passage, which is in communication with the main passage so as to enable water to flow toward the port for discharging waste material even when the main passage is clogged by filth. The clog-preventing passage is arranged radially outside the main passage along the lengthwise direction of the main passage, or arranged at the inner surface of the waste trap.
