Abstract

The invention relates to an electric turbocharger (13) for supplying air to a fuel cell (3), having a turbine (16), a compressor (12) and an electric machine (17) which all have a drive connection with one another, having a compressor-side device for influencing pressure and/or volume flow at the compressor (12), and having a turbine-side device for influencing pressure and/or volume flow at the turbine (16). The invention is characterized in that the compressor-side device for influencing pressure and/or volume flow at the compressor (12) is constructed as a variable compressor inlet geometry (18).
