Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de conversion d'éléments de devise en crédits qui sont remboursables dans une transaction à valeur variable. La conversion d'éléments de devise en crédits permet aux crédits d'être utilisés pour satisfaire un solde initial ou un solde restant de la transaction à valeur variable faisant intervenir un élément de contenu multimédia. La conversion peut consister à recevoir un identificateur de client unique identifiant un client, à recevoir un identificateur unique des éléments de devise, et à déterminer si l'élément de devise est ou non valide pour être converti en un crédit. Si l'élément de devise est valide, un rapport de conversion des éléments de devise en crédits peut être extrait et une quantité des crédits peut être calculée à partir des éléments de devise, sur la base du rapport de conversion. La quantité des crédits peut être délivrée au client dans une base de données de crédits. Des éléments de devise non valides peuvent se voir refuser une conversion en crédit.
