Abstract

The present invention relates to an emergency ladder which is installed on a balcony balustrade including a plurality of horizontal bars and vertical bars. The emergency ladder includes: a first guide pipe body having a sliding groove in a vertical direction in each of both sides thereof in a state where a plurality of mount brackets are provided so as to be hooked on the horizontal bars, the first guide pipe body having a semicircular pipe shape, being placed on a surface facing the balcony balustrade, and having a first ladder mounted thereon in a vertical direction; a second guide pipe body including a guide part in each of both sides thereof so that the second guide pipe body is slidably installed in the sliding groove, the second guide pipe body having a semicircular pipe shape, and having a second ladder installed in a vertical direction on the surface facing the balcony balustrade; a support shaft including a spool in a state where the support shaft is rotatably installed on an upper end of the first guide pipe body; a wire having one end connected to one side of the second guide pipe body to support the second guide pipe body in a state where the other end in a length direction of the wire is connected to the spool of the support shaft; and a control part connected to the support shaft in a state where the control part is installed on the first guide pipe body to selectively rotate the support shaft in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction so that the first and second guide pipe bodies are folded or unfolded while the wire is wound around the support shaft or unwound from the support shaft.
