Abstract
The invention relates to a plate-shaped battery electrode (1), comprising a grid component (10) and an active mass (7) arranged on the grid component (10), wherein the grid component has a grid having a plurality of grid webs, wherein the grid is produced by punching material pieces out of the grid component (10), wherein one or more or all grid webs at least partially have a surface structure (50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 70, 71, 72, 73) introduced by means of a tool. The invention further relates to a battery having one or more plate-shaped battery electrodes and to a method for producing a plate-shaped battery electrode.
