Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen ortsempfindlichen Detektor für eine Detektion von Photonenoder Teilchenverteilungen, bei dem die Detektor- Empfangsfläche (1) durch mehrere Detektorzellen (2) aus einzelnen Detektorelementen gebildet ist, die mit mehreren Auslesekanälen (5) verbunden sind. Die Zuordnung der Detektorzellen (2) zu den Auslesekanälen (5) ist derart gewählt, dass aus Signalen der Auslesekanäle (5) eine Position eines Schwerpunktes einer auf die Detektor-Empfangsfläche (1) auftreffenden Photonen- oder Teilchenverteilung lokal bestimmt werden kann. Der Detektor erlaubt eine hohe Ortsauflösung bei einer geringen Anzahl an Auslesekanälen.
