  • the rescue services used by ships in emergency situations are widely used in inflatable motor boats, which, in comparison with ships with a rigid hull, have obvious advantages: in the transported position they occupy very little space and do not require specially equipped premises for permanent storage and launching; when quickly delivered to the place of use, for example, by helicopter, they can, if necessary, be quickly deployed and launched, including by self-inflating; at the end of the rescue operation, they can also be quickly rolled up and delivered to the place of permanent storage.

Therefore, the specified boat, for safety, can only move quickly on large water open spaces without obstacles, which significantly limits its application.

  • the main disadvantage of the known motor boat is the location of the transom installed in the stern of the boat on the inflatable bottom and leading to the emergence of turbulent water turbulence. This is due to the fact that the inflatable bottom ends with a rounding, flowing around which the water jets create turbulences, thereby disrupting the laminar flow around the hull of the boat, which increases its resistance to movement, and, therefore, leads to a decrease in speed or increase fuel consumption, thereby reducing its performance. Abstract
