Abstract

The present invention relates to a safety protector for a blind which surrounds a ball chain (110) of a previously installed blind to prevent safety-related accidents involving infants or children from occurring. The safety protector for a blind according to the present invention includes: a ball chain (110); and a protector (120) including a first fitting part (121) having a circular arc shape in section to surround the ball chain, an extension part (125) extending from the first fitting part by a predetermined length, and a second fitting part (126) disposed on the other end of the extension part and having a circular arc shape in section to surround the ball chain. Thus, since the protector is fitted into the outside of the ball chain to prevent infants or children from catching the ball chain, the occurrence of safety-related accidents such as suffocation may be prevented. Also, since the protector is fitted into the drooping ball chain, the outer appearance thereof may be kept in an elegant state.
