Abstract

A configuration unit (103, 210) for configuring at least one sensor(110, 200a- d) for detection of a target in a space(102, 202). The sensor and the configuration unit comprise at least one transmitter (104) and a plurality of receivers(105), and the configuration unit is operatively connected to sensor. The configuration unit is adapted to estimate at least one detection zone of a target of the sensor, based on a transmitting range for the transmitter of the sensor and on a receiving range for the plurality of receivers of the sensor. Furthermore, the configuration unit is adapted to configure the sensor with respect to the detection zone of a target of the sensor.
