Abstract

The present invention pertains to an orifice steam trap, which comprises: a trap body formed in the shape of a cylinder which is closed at one end, and having a path in the shape of a groove therein; and a conical orifice protruding from the outer surface of the closed end of the trap body and having a hole inside to communicate with the path. According to the present invention, particles do not accumulate around the hole or on the wall surface of the path while an object to be drained passes through the orifice hole and the path, thereby preventing holes from becoming clogged and the path from narrowing. As a result, an object to be drained may be quickly discharged and the lifespan of the present invention is greatly increased, extending the replacement period, so that considerable economical benefits may be obtained.
