Abstract

The present invention relates to producing a metal coating (6) on at least part of a steel substrate (4). According to the present invention metal particles (8, 10) are deposited on the steel substrate (4) by thermal spraying for forming the metal coating (6). At least one inorganic coloring agent is deposited on the surface steel substrate (4) together with the metal particles (8, 10).
