Abstract
발명에 따르면, 전기습윤 장치 및 전기습윤 장치의 응답속도 개선방법이 제공된다. 전극; 상기 전극 상에 코팅되는 유전체를 포함하는 절연막; 상기 절연막 상에 위치하는 액적; 및 상기 전극에 인가되는 전압을 제어하는 전원 제어부를 포함하되, 상기 전원 제어부는 상기 액적의 특정 접촉각에 해당하는 제 2 전압보다 높은 제 1 전압을 인가하여 상기 특정 접촉각을 실현하고, 상기 특정 접촉각이 실현된 경우 상기 제 2 전압을 인가하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 전기습윤 장치에 액적의 접촉각에 따라 서로 다른 전압을 인가함으로써 전기습윤 장치의 응답속도를 개선할 수 있다
