Abstract

A solar cell module comprises: a plurality of solar cells; an optically transparent front-plane substrate positioned over a first plane of the solar cells; a first silicone resin positioned between the optically transparent front substrate and the solar cells; a rear-plane substrate positioned over a second plane of the solar cells; a second silicone resin positioned between the rear-plane substrate and the solar cells; and a thermally conductive member positioned between the rear-plane substrate and the solar cells. The thermally conductive member is formed from a plurality of particles or metal fibres whose thermal conductivity is greater than that of the second silicone resin.
