Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for transmitting a broadcast service, a reception method thereof and a reception apparatus therefor. The method for receiving the broadcast service according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving caption service signaling information; recognizing the type of data stream containing captioning data on the basis of the caption service signaling information; and extracting the captioning data on the basis of the type of data stream. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the broadcast information may be received and provided through a non-real time service.
