Abstract

본 발명은 대여하거나 구입한 전자책을 단일 프로그램을 이용하여 다수의 단말 장치에서 관리하며, 저작권을 보호할 수 있는 전자책 관리 방법 및 서버, 그를 위한 전자책 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 전자책 서버는, 전자책 파일을 저장하고, 사용자가 구매한 전자책 정보 및 전자책 도서관에서 대출받은 전자책 정보를 이용하여 전자책 리스트를 형성하고, 사용자가 구매한 전자책 및 전자책 도서관에서 대출받은 전자책의 사용기한을 관리하며, 사용자 요청을 수신하여 사용자 단말의 고유 정보 및 사용기한 정보를 포함하여 사용자가 선택한 전자책 파일의 암호화를 수행하며, 사용자 단말로부터 사용자 요청 및 사용자 단말의 고유 정보를 포함하는 사용기한 정보를 수신하고, 사용자 단말로 암호화된 전자책 파일을 송신하는 통신부를 포함한다.
