Abstract

The present invention provides a transmission control device for a dual clutch transmission vehicle and a method thereof. According to the present invention a transmission control device for a dual clutch transmission vehicle and method thereof indicate that during pre-selection, in which gears for pre-selection are preset on each transmission clutch in a dual clutch transmission vehicle, transmission clutch rotation speeds of each are received; received transmission clutch rotation speeds of the are compared with predefined standards; and on the basis of the results of the comparison, the gears for pre-selection of the transmission clutches are set to a preset neutral gear; and then following the pre-selection of the preset neutral gear, transmission clutch breakage and damage, due to transmission clutch rotation speeds higher than the standards, are prevented during pre-selection, so that durability of the vehicle may be greatly improved and reliability thereof may be fundamentally improved.
