Abstract
본 발명에 따른 세라믹볼을 사용한 무촉매 열연소 총유기탄소 함유량 측정 장치는 산화 리액터를 사용하여 이산화탄소로 변환하는 방식을 적용하고 있는 총유기탄소 측정 장치로서, 리액터(20)와, 상기 리액터(20)의 내부에 삽입되고 그 하단에는 시브(24)가 설치되는 원통형의 프로텍션 튜브(22)와, 상기 원통형의 프로텍션 튜브(22)에 충진되는 세라믹 볼(26), 및 섭씨 1,200 ± 200 온도로 조절하는 히터와 상기 히터에 전류를 공급하는 온도 조절부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 상기와 같은 본 발명에 따른 세라믹볼을 사용한 무촉매 열연소 총유기탄소 함유량 측정 장치는 종래의 촉매 방식이 섭씨 600 ~ 1,000도로 제어하는 것에 비하여 1,200 ± 200 도로 온도를 높게 제어하고 세라믹 볼을 프로텍션 튜브 내에 충진시킴으로써 백금과 같은 촉매를 사용하지 않으면서도 온도가 균일하게 프로텍션 튜브내에서 분포되도록 하여 염분이 결정을 형성하지 않도록 하고 기화를 촉진시켜 TOC 측정에 문제가 없다. 따라서, 촉매를 사용하지 않아 유지보수 부담이 획기적으로 개선된 무촉매 열연소 세라믹 총유기탄소 측정 장치가 제공된다.
