Abstract

The present invention relates to an oil-pump cover (1) obtained by a process of sintering metallic powders, said cover having a chemical composition, granulometric distribution, sintering time and temperature thata enable a reduction of the level of the cover (1) weight of 8% - 16%, as well as a reduction of its final cost on the order of 10% to 20%.
