  • the water containing the debris is then pumped through pipe (312), through the debris trap (not visible) in the pump housing (302) where substantially all or all of the debris is trapped by the debris trap.
  • the water is thereafter redirected through the filter (305) and filter medium to effectively remove any remaining debris.
  • valve (310) is opened and the debris-free water is directed through pipe (306),. through the sanitation unit (307), and returned to the swimming pool.
  • the pump housing (302) can be opened and the debris trap removed, cleaned and returned to the housing, or replaced if disposable.

Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un système de lavage à contre-courant pour un corps de fluide comprenant un filtre comprenant un milieu filtrant et un piège à débris pour la capture de débris à partir du milieu filtrant, le piège à débris étant en communication fluidique avec le filtre, et un procédé associé de lavage à contre-courant d'un milieu filtrant contaminé, comprenant les étapes consistant à faire traverser le milieu filtrant à un fluide provenant d'un corps de fluide pour produire un milieu filtrant contaminé; à faire traverser le milieu filtrant contaminé au fluide pour éliminer les débris du milieu; et à capturer les débris éliminés dans un piège à débris.
