Abstract

A method for controlling a component includes: transmitting map information on a whole area to be cleaned, which is stored in the component, to a remote device; receiving a cleaning sequence for the whole area to be cleaned, from the remote device, by the component; and cleaning the whole area to be cleaned according to the received cleaning sequence by the component.
