Abstract
La présente invention concerne une aiguille-électrode bipolaire pour thermothérapie haute fréquence, qui réalise une nécrose d'un site lésé, par exemple d'un tissu cancéreux dans un organe corporel, par élévation de la température du site lésé au moyen d'ondes haute fréquence et cautérisation de ce dernier. Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne une aiguille-électrode bipolaire asymétrique pour thermothérapie haute fréquence, l'aiguille comprenant au moins deux parties conductrices séparées l'une de l'autre par au moins une partie isolante, lesdites au moins deux parties conductrices présentant une structure asymétrique dans laquelle l'une des parties conductrices est plus longue que l'autre, ainsi que des électrodes agencées de manière bipolaire, permettant à l'aiguille-électrode bipolaire asymétrique pour thermothérapie haute fréquence de cautériser une grande zone de tissu, ladite zone à cautériser pouvant être ajustée de manière sélective.
