Abstract

본 명세서에서의 개시에 따르면, MBAN(Medical Body Area Network) 시스템에서 MBAN 마스터(master)가 MBAN 단말의 채널 초기화(defaulting)를 제어하는 방법이 제공된다. 상기 방법은 제 1 주파수 대역의 채널을 통하여 상기 MBAN 단말과 어소시에이션 (association) 과정을 수행하는 단계와; 상기 MBAN 단말의 채널 초기화를 위한 제어 정보를 상기 MBAN 단말에게 전송하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 제어 정보는 채널 초기화 타이머(timer)를 포함하고, 상기 채널 초기화 타이머(timer)의 값은, 상기 MBAN 단말이 사용중인 상기 제 1 주파수 대역의 채널로부터 신호를 수신하지 못하는 시점부터 제 2 주파수 대역의 채널 탐색을 시작하는 시점까지의 시간을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 한다.
