Definitions
- the invention relates to a connector assembly according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to a connector set with such a connector assembly.
- Connector assemblies are known in medical technology especially as luer lock connectors. With the connector assembly components of a medical delivery system, a syringe, a venous indwelling or a hose system can be interconnected. In general, the connector assembly serves to provide a fluid connection between the components to be connected. From US 6,206,430 Bl a connector assembly is known. From US 4,752,292 a medical connector is known. US 4,894,055 describes a needle guard assembly.
- the one-way subassembly according to the invention allows exactly one-time use of the connector assembly, ie, a connection of the connection section of the connection part with a counterconnection section of a counter-connector exactly once.
- the at least one blocking part is converted to the blocking position, so that the insertion is blocked by the blocking part for the introduction of the counter-Konnetechnischsab section in particular irreversible , Irreversible in this context means that the insertion of the counter-connection section into the insertion section can not overcome the blockage by the blocking part.
- the first component may be a hose.
- the second component can be a syringe, a tube, a venous indwelling catheter or a catheter.
- Other components can be tightly connected to the connector assembly, so liquid and / or gas-tight.
- the individual parts of the connector assembly can be made entirely of plastic and can represent, for example, injection-molded components.
- the blocking part can be designed as a component separate from the connecting part. The blocking part can thus in particular be integrally connected neither to the connecting part nor to the counter-connecting section. The blocking part can be prevented from returning to the release position, starting from the blocking position, by means of an undercut, which is part of another component of the connector assembly.
- the component having this undercut can be a convertible locking part and / or a latching component.
- An internal thread according to claim 3 allows a secure connection of the Konnetechnischsabitess with the counter-Konnetechnischsabterrorism.
- the Konnetechnischsabites may in particular be designed in the manner of a Luerlock connection.
- a spring according to claim 4 provides a bias of the blocking part, so that this, as soon as it comes free, moves into the blocking position and remains in this. An unintentional or undesirable displacement of the blocking part from the blocking position to the release position is thus avoided.
- the at least one spring can be made of plastic or metal.
- a spring washer according to claim 5 can be produced inexpensively.
- the spring ring can be integrally formed on the other blocking part.
- a blocking portion according to claim 6 does not undesirably hinder the release of the counter-connector from the connector.
- Two blocking parts according to claim 7 ensure a secure blocking of the insertion of the counter-Konnetechnischsabitess.
- a locking member according to claim 8 provides a desired maintenance of the release position of the blocking member, so that it does not change undesirable in the blocking position.
